Ratios Bakery is Opening in Katameya Heights’ Pool Terrace

The days are getting longer again, and Cairo seems to have been quietly shadow-banned from winter. Spring isn't quite here yet but hey, it's just a matter of time. So naturally, Ratios is opening a new spot at Katameya Heights’ Pool Terrace.

Having begun as a husband-and-wife venture, the bakery is bringing its Maadi-born approach to pastries into a more laid-back setting. Just imagine chilling with the sun on your skin, drifting around the edges of the pool, then satisfying that carb-driven craving for croissant.

Elsewhere in the city, Ratios can be found at its original Maadi bakery, Ratios Underground—also in Maadi, designed for longer mornings—and a branch inside the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The Katameya Heights opening date has yet to be announced.
