Future Hospitality Summit Asnwers Egypt's Big, Burning Hotel Questions
From Downtown Cairo’s historic buildings to the Red Sea’s future as a year-round destination, Future Hospitality Summit arrives in Cairo on November 10th–11th. Here are the panels to watch.
Egypt’s hospitality boom raises questions far beyond how many new hotels are opening. How can Downtown Cairo’s historic buildings find new life? Can the North Coast become a year-round destination? And how can Egypt connect its resorts, cultural landmarks and emerging destinations into a more compelling tourism offering?
These are some of the conversations taking centre stage as Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) makes its Cairo debut on November 10th and 11th, 2026.
With editions in Dubai, Riyadh and Nairobi, FHS has established itself as a major international hospitality investment forum, bringing together hotel operators, developers, investors and tourism leaders to explore the industry's future.
Key panels and speakers include MO4 Network’s ‘Beyond the Monuments’, exploring the connections between heritage, communities and tourism, with Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the Grand Egyptian Museum; Sherif Erian, CEO of Aga Khan Cultural Services Egypt; and Mohamed Zaghloul, VP at Egyptian Engineers Group.
‘The Golden Route’ will bring together the likes of architect Shadi El Ghoneimi and Wings Group Chairman Ahmed El Wassief to explore luxury tourism between Cairo and the Nile.
‘The Business of Revival’ will examine Cairo’s architectural heritage with Ahmed Ibrahim of Brassbell, Kareem Nabil of GNK Hospitality and Karim Shafei of Al Ismaelia.
Other conversations will explore year-round coastal tourism, hospitality investment and branded residences.
Beyond the panels, the FHS Deal Room, investor breakfast and networking sessions will connect projects with potential partners, while FHS Living explores the intersection of hospitality and real estate.
As Official Media Partner, SceneTraveller will bring you live coverage and exclusive interviews with the people shaping Egypt’s hospitality future.
Swipe through for our pick of the panels to look out for across both days.
