Nola Whips Mango Milkshakes Into Creamy Cake Slices

Whoever said they’ve been seeing less mangoes on the market this year must have missed out on Nola’s summer dessert menu, which consists of at least eight different mango desserts (each, of course, with its own unique twist). Nola’s newest addition to the seemingly ever-growing mango tribe is incredibly different, though; it’s not a mango cake, it’s a mango milkshake cake.

Far from simply mango ice cream cakes, which some might understandably mistake them to be, the mango milkshake cake is in fact a creamy assortment of soft vanilla cake, fresh mango pieces, a creamy milk mixture, fresh cream and, to top it all off, a small bottle of mango milkshake. It’s sold in individual slices that won’t wait for unfold like a flowing river of mango and cream.
