UAE’s First National Agricultural Museum to Open in Al Ain

The United Arab Emirates is set to open its first National Agricultural Museum in Al Ain. The announcement was made by Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, ahead of the UAE Agricultural Exhibition taking place from May 28th to the 31st at the ADNEC Centre.

The museum will trace the evolution of agriculture in the UAE, from pre-union traditional methods to today’s cutting-edge and sustainable farming practices. It will also present the country’s forward-looking vision, showcasing agriculture’s central role in food security, environmental stewardship, and technological advancement.

Visitors can expect an interactive educational experience, including digital displays, storytelling installations, and hands-on exhibits. The museum will also honour major contributors to the UAE’s agricultural development, particularly the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose legacy helped shape the sector.

While the final location of the permanent museum has not yet been announced, the launch coincides with a national push to increase awareness around agriculture and sustainable development.
