UAE Wins Outdoor Badminton World Cup Title in Khorfakkan

The UAE national badminton team has won the Outdoor Badminton World Cup – National Teams Relay Race title after defeating China 60–54 in the final, held on Khorfakkan Beach. The championship brought together 96 players from 12 countries. During the closing ceremony, Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chief of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Khorfakkan, presented the championship shield to the UAE team. The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. In other results, Brazil secured the men’s triples title, while China took the women’s triples crown.
