South Sinai's First Integrated Speech & Rehab Unit Opens in El Tor

The General Authority for Health Care has inaugurated the first integrated unit for speech therapy, psychological rehabilitation, and sensory integration in South Sinai. Based at the Al-Fayrouz Medical Complex in El Tor, the facility includes the first sensory integration room established within a government medical institution. Services cover speech therapy, behavioural treatment, psychological evaluation, family counselling, and mental health support. The unit is equipped to provide up to 250 therapeutic sessions each month. Officials highlighted that the facility was designed to meet local and remote community needs, reducing travel burdens for families in desert and rural areas.
