A Founding Day display in Riyadh secured records for the largest drone QR code formation and largest moving aerial image.
stc group secured two Guinness World Records titles following a large-scale drone light show staged over Riyadh to mark Founding Day on February 22nd, 2026.
The performance achieved records for the largest multirotor drone QR code formation and the largest moving aerial image formed by multirotor drones. The synchronised display illuminated the capital’s skyline with digital visuals created through coordinated aerial formations.
During the show, a fleet of multirotor drones formed dynamic shapes and an interactive QR code in the sky, culminating in the two record-breaking formations officially recognised by Guinness World Records.
The event formed part of stc group’s participation in Founding Day celebrations, with the records confirming the scale and technical complexity of the aerial choreography achieved during the Riyadh display.
