Sharjah Education Summit to Convene Global Experts in February

The fifth Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education will take place on February 14th and 15th, 2026, at Sharjah Education Academy in University City, bringing together education leaders, policymakers and practitioners from around the world. Held under the patronage of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the summit will feature 120 speakers from 30 countries across 130 sessions, including keynote addresses, panel discussions and interactive workshops.
Organisers detailed the programme during a press conference hosted jointly by the Sharjah Private Education Authority and Sharjah Education Academy. They highlighted the summit’s growing international partnerships, alongside sponsor support from Invest Bank and Sharjah Media City.
A dedicated pre-conference day will precede the main programme, offering 11 advanced masterclasses aimed at educators, school leaders and policymakers. These sessions are designed to provide practical tools and applied frameworks that can be implemented directly in classrooms and school settings.
Across the two-day summit, discussions will focus on education system improvement, leadership and governance, equity and inclusion, and the role of artificial intelligence in teaching, learning and assessment. Additional sessions will explore early childhood education, learner-centred models and pathways towards inclusive and sustainable education systems.
The agenda is structured around three core tracks: collaboration across the education ecosystem, innovation in learning, and inclusion and empowerment for all learners, reflecting the summit’s emphasis on practical impact alongside long-term education reform.
