Saudi Cinema Revenues Reach SAR 448 Million in First Half of 2025
In the domestic box office, ‘Shabab Al-Bomb 2’ ranked first with SAR 27.2 million from more than 603,000 tickets, followed by ‘Hubal’ with SAR 24.5 million and ‘Esaf’ with SAR 18.5 million.

Saudi cinemas recorded box office revenues of SAR 448 million during the first half of 2025, with more than 9 million tickets sold across 20 cities, according to official figures from the Saudi Film Commission.
The report shows that the Kingdom has maintained the top position among Middle East cinema markets since 2020, supported by expansion to 65 cinemas comprising 635 screens in 20 cities. The report also recorded an average ticket price of SAR 49.06.
Local productions led the domestic box office. ‘Shabab Al-Bomb 2’ ranked first with SAR 27.2 million from more than 603,000 tickets, followed by ‘Hubal’ with SAR 24.5 million and ‘Esaf’ with SAR 18.5 million. ‘Fakhr Al-Suwaidi’ continued its run, reaching more than SAR 6.4 million over nine weeks. Across all releases screened in Saudi Arabia, ‘Lilo & Stitch’ led with SAR 31.8 million, followed by the Saudi title ‘Shabab Al-Bomb 2’, then ‘Al-Hana Elli Ana Fih’ with SAR 29.5 million, and ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ with SAR 21.7 million.
