Sacrifice Bonds to Be Available Online via 'Digital Egypt' Platform
Implemented with the Ministries of Supply and Social Solidarity, payments will be available via the Egypt Digital Platform with no administrative or advertising fees.
The Ministry of Awqaf will introduce an online payment option for sacrifice bonds through the 'Digital Egypt' Platform, with full details to be announced after the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
The service is offered on a seasonal basis, with the price of each bond set annually by the ministry. The Sacrifice Bonds and Feeding Project is implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, alongside other state entities, targeting families most in need across the country.
The project operates on a non-profit basis, with funds directed entirely towards providing sacrificial meat, feeding allocations and food packages, without deductions for administrative or promotional costs.
Donations made through the platform are non-refundable once completed, except in cases of technical or payment processing errors.
The ministry stated that all donor data will be handled confidentially in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, with no use for commercial or marketing purposes and no sharing with third parties.
