Over AED 175 Billion Invested in Dubai's Infrastructure in 20 Years

Dubai has channelled more than AED 175 billion into infrastructure projects over the past two decades, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The investments cover extensive developments in road networks, metro lines, bridges and connectivity systems that have shaped Dubai’s growth into a major global destination.
Alongside physical infrastructure, the RTA has focused on developing human capital, technical expertise and operational capabilities to ensure the sustainability of these systems.
The city’s continued expansion has been supported by long-term investment planning aimed at keeping pace with rapid urban growth and advancing Dubai’s vision of a seamless, efficient and future-ready transport network.
