Dubai RTA Introduces Free Feeder Bus Rides for Metro Users

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced a complimentary feeder-bus service for passengers using the Dubai Metro, as long as the journey stays within the same fare zone.

Under the scheme, fare payment occurs only at the start of the trip when boarding the feeder bus. If passengers then transfer to the metro and return via the feeder bus within the same zone, no additional charges apply. The metro system operates across seven main zones, each covering specific areas such as Jebel Ali, Al Barsha, Mirdif, Al Rashidiya and Dubai Land.
