Naguib Sawiris Will Establish Iraq's Biggest Residential Project

Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris' ORA Real Estate Development Company has signed a contract with the Iraqi government to establish Iraq's biggest residential project, the Ali Al-Wardi City.

The project, part of the government's priority programme, aims to create cities with robust infrastructure and a wide range of housing options to accommodate the diverse needs of citizens. The Ali Al-Wardi City project, named after the respected Iraqi sociologist and thinker, covers an expansive area of 61 million square metres in southeastern Baghdad.

With a capacity of 120,000 housing units, along with urban facilities, green spaces and cutting-edge smart city technology, this project sets a new standard for sustainability and environmental preservation in the country.
