More Than 43 Million Ride-Hailing Trips in Saudi Arabia in Q4 2025
The Transport General Authority’s quarterly index shows Makkah at 21.89% and the Eastern Region at 14.20%, followed by Madinah at 5.94%.
More than 43 million ride-hailing trips were completed across Saudi Arabia in the fourth quarter of 2025, marking a 54.26% increase compared with the same period in 2024, according to figures released by the Transport General Authority.
The data was published in the authority’s quarterly statistical bulletin and reflects completed trips across all regions of the Kingdom during the final three months of the year.
Riyadh recorded the largest share of ride-hailing activity, accounting for 44.56% of total trips in the quarter. Makkah followed with 21.89%, while the Eastern Region represented 14.20% of completed trips. Together, the three regions made up more than 80% of ride-hailing journeys recorded nationwide.
Other regions registered smaller proportions of activity. Madinah accounted for 5.94% of trips, Asir for 3.20%, Qassim for 2.95% and Tabuk for 2.39%. Hail recorded 1.83%, Jazan 1.24%, Najran 0.67%, Al Jouf 0.57%, the Northern Borders Region 0.32% and Al Baha 0.23%.
