Madinah Launches Alsirah Gardens Near Quba Mosque
Launched by a Public Investment Fund subsidiary, the project offers interactive experiences based on the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
A new cultural and leisure destination has opened in Madinah with the launch of Alsirah Gardens, beginning with the Orchard of Al-Mustazill near Quba Mosque. The project introduces an interactive environment inspired by the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), positioning gardens, storytelling and public space at the centre of the experience.
The Orchard of Al-Mustazill covers around 70,000 square metres and is divided into seven enrichment zones. These include cultural and educational experiences based on the Prophetic Sirah, dedicated areas for children, retail and shopping spaces, and a rural lodge designed to extend visits beyond a single stop. The layout is intended to encourage exploration while blending learning with recreation in an open-air setting.
Alsirah Gardens is being developed by QSAS, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, as a multi-phase project with an estimated investment of SAR 500 million (USD 133 million). Once fully completed, the project is expected to attract up to 10 million visitors annually, supporting Madinah’s cultural tourism offering while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of diversifying experiences linked to heritage, culture and community life.
