Indian Premier Cricket League Mega Auction Set for November in Jeddah
The auction, a key event for cricket franchises to build their teams, will occur at the Abadi Al Johar Arena.
The Indian Premier Cricket League (IPL) 2025 mega auction is set to be held on November 24th and the 25th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking the second consecutive year that the event will take place outside of India, following last year’s auction in Dubai. The auction, which is a key event for IPL franchises to build their cricket teams for the 2025-2027 seasons, will occur at the Abadi Al Johar Arena, also known as the Benchmark Arena.
This year, 1,574 players have registered for the auction, with a diverse mix of 1,165 Indian players and 409 overseas talents from countries including Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, the USA and the UAE. IPL franchises will look to fill a total of 204 available squad slots, with each team allowed to build a roster of up to 25 players.
