Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Announces Engagement to French Montana

Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of Dubai’s ruler, has confirmed her engagement to Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. The couple recently announced the news via a shared Instagram post, where they showed a custom-designed diamond ring. The proposal occurred during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025, shortly after French Montana appeared on the runway for the 3.PARADIS Spring/Summer 2026 show.

The ring - a custom-designed, emerald-cut diamond weighing 11.53 carats and valued at approximately USD 1.1 million - was crafted by Eric the Jeweler of Mavani & Co.

Their relationship has been in the public eye since late 2024, and the engagement follows Sheikha Mahra’s widely reported divorce in 2024, which she announced via Instagram, invoking the Islamic practice of triple talaq.
