Dubai Health Authority Unveils Tawazun Pod for 3 Minute Stress Relief
Unveiled at World Health Expo 2026 as part of the Mental Wealth Initiative the refurbished pods followed pilot testing and are slated for rollout across public and private sites later this year.
The Dubai Health Authority has unveiled the Tawazun Pod, a three-minute, AI-guided wellbeing experience designed to help reduce stress and support emotional balance, at the World Health Expo 2026 in Dubai. The launch forms part of the authority’s Mental Wealth Initiative, which focuses on preventative mental health support in everyday environments.
Named after the Arabic word for balance, Tawazun provides users with a short, private session intended as a quick reset in public and workplace settings. The pod operates through three personalised modes — Boost Me, Calm Me, and Ground Me — which are selected based on the user’s immediate emotional needs.
Each session combines soft lighting, therapeutic soundscapes, fresh scents, and guided breathing exercises. These elements are delivered through an AI-generated audio and visual interface that offers gentle prompts and affirmations throughout the experience.
According to the Dubai Health Authority, the pod showcased at the expo is a refined version developed following pilot testing and user feedback. Installations are planned later this year across shopping malls, public spaces, government offices, and private sector workplaces, with the authority noting strong early interest from organisations looking to integrate short wellbeing interventions into daily routines.
