Dar Al-Ifta Is Dropping Its First AI Animated Series This Ramadan

Dar Al-Iftaa will present an animated series produced using artificial intelligence for the first time during Ramadan. Titled ‘Anas AI’, the series is set to air on ON, dmc, Al Hayah and Al Nas, in addition to Dar Al-Iftaa’s official social media platforms.

The institution stated that the production integrates artificial intelligence tools with ethical themes to deliver educational content aimed at children and Egyptian families during the holy month.

Alongside the series, Dar Al-Iftaa has outlined an expanded Ramadan plan focused on fatwa services and community engagement. Daily guidance will be available throughout the month through in-person consultations, telephone services and online channels, including at its Cairo headquarters and branches in governorates nationwide.

Branch activities will include initiatives such as ‘Fatawa for Fasting People’, as well as field visits and awareness sessions in mosques, schools and public venues in coordination with relevant authorities. The programme features general fatwa councils, dedicated jurisprudence gatherings for women, and seminars for youth and children.

Cooperation with the Ministry of Education will involve school sessions addressing fasting practices and correcting misconceptions, while collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports will extend outreach to community clubs. Regional branches will also organise targeted activities.

In Alexandria, open meetings with university students are scheduled to receive questions directly, while the Matrouh branch will coordinate local mosque fatwa councils and broadcast Ramadan fatwa segments on Matrouh Radio.

Dar Al-Iftaa will additionally launch a dedicated Ramadan page on its official website, providing approved rulings and practical resources.

Users will be able to download a Book of Fasting containing authorised rulings and recommended practices, and access a video library featuring explanations from Dar Al-Iftaa scholars.
