DIFC Launches ‘1 Million Learners’ to Advance Sustainability Education

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has launched the ‘1 Million Learners’ initiative, a global education programme offering free online courses in sustainable finance, technology, and innovation. Developed in collaboration with leading academic institutions and digital platforms, the initiative aims to equip one million learners around the world with future-focused knowledge and skills.

Part of DIFC’s Sustainable Finance Catalyst, the programme is designed to support the UAE’s broader climate and development goals, especially in the wake of COP28. By making sustainability education widely accessible, DIFC hopes to position the initiative as a key tool for advancing inclusive economic growth and climate literacy at scale.

Courses will be available via prominent online learning platforms and are structured to serve students, professionals, and entrepreneurs alike.
