Singapore’s Bluente Secures $1.5 Million to Expand Into Middle East

Singapore-based Bluente, an AI-powered language translation platform, has secured $1.5 million in seed‑plus funding, led by Informed Ventures, to advance its growth and geographic reach, particularly into the Middle East, United States and Asia‑Pacific markets. The platform supports over 120 languages and delivers document translations that preserve original formatting - tables, charts, layouts and more - aiming to eliminate hours lost to manual reformatting and improve productivity for firms across sectors. Bluente already counts more than 70 enterprise clients, including law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. Bluente cited the Middle East and Asia regions as key targets due to their concentration of international firms and rising demand for cross‑border document workflows, especially where Arabic support offers a competitive edge. The funding will support hires in sales, product and engineering, as well as marketing efforts and expansion of partnerships.
