Plus VC Targets 40 Startup Deals & $10 Million Capital Increase
The firm will increase its capital deployment to $10 million, more than double this year’s figure.
Plus VC, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage and seed-to-Series A investments across the MENA region, has announced plans to fund more than 40 startup deals in 2026. The firm will increase its capital deployment to $10 million, more than double this year’s figure.
The firm — which was founded in 2020 — has supported over 250 startups across the Middle East and North Africa so far. The upcoming expansion reflects confidence in rising deal activity and a strategic pivot toward new sectors.
Plus VC said it will focus investment on sectors including construction technology, food-waste platforms and fintech, responding to evolving regional needs and growing demand for sustainable and tech-enabled solutions.
The firm’s backing of Saudi start-ups such as Calo — a foodtech company reportedly eyeing a 2027 local listing — and Strataphy, a cooling-solutions start-up recently funded by Plus VC, underlines its growing footprint in the Kingdom.
