Star-studded Comedy Film 'Tani Tani' to Screen at Cinemas on May 22nd
The star-studded comedy is the late screenwriter Mohamed Nabawi’s final completed work.
On May 22nd, audiences can finally catch ‘Tani Tani’, a long-postponed comedy film starring Ghada Abdel Razek, on the big screen. Directed by Sherif Ismail, the movie will be released in cinemas across Egypt almost two years after filming ended in 2022.
Starring actors Ahmed Adam, Bayoumi Fouad and Mahmoud Hafez, the film is the last work of writer Mohamed Nabawi, who passed away a little over a year ago at the age of 58. A celebrated figure behind fan favourites like ‘Al-Qarmouti’, Nabawi crafted over 15 comedies throughout his two-decade career. ‘Tani Tani’ marks his third collaboration with leading man Ahmed Adam and an homage to the genre he helped elevate.
