Ehsan Charity Campaign Surpasses SAR 1 Billion in Donations

Donations to the sixth National Charity Campaign through the Ehsan Platform have surpassed SAR 1 billion as of March 11th, 2026.

The campaign launched on February 20th, the first Friday of Ramadan, and raised SAR 646 million on its opening day. Contributions have continued to grow through the platform’s digital donation channels.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, jointly donated SAR 70 million to the campaign.

On March 6th in Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Emir of Riyadh, honoured benefactors of the campaign on behalf of the Crown Prince.

The campaign operates through the Ehsan Platform, which facilitates secure digital donations for charitable programmes and services across the Kingdom. The platform is supported by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority and is overseen by a Shariah supervisory committee to ensure compliance with Islamic law.

Since its launch in 2021, the platform has supported charitable initiatives throughout Saudi Arabia. According to official figures, individuals and institutions have donated more than SAR 15 billion through over 330 million transactions.
