Art D’Égypte & Senghor University Announce Cultural Partnership

Art D’Égypte has signed a partnership agreement with Senghor University in Alexandria aimed at expanding cultural dialogue and artistic collaboration across the region.

The agreement was signed by Senghor University Rector Thierry Verdel and Art D’Égypte founder Nadine Abdel Ghaffar.

It marks the second time the two organisations have partnered on cultural initiatives and reflects a shared focus on supporting artistic exchange and heritage-focused programmes across Africa.

Founded by curator Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Art D’Égypte is known for presenting contemporary Egyptian art in historic sites across the country, bringing modern artistic practices into dialogue with Egypt’s cultural landmarks.

The organisation’s exhibitions often aim to support Egyptian artists while connecting the local art scene with international audiences.

Senghor University, a French-speaking international institution based in Alexandria, focuses on development across Africa and has emphasised culture and heritage as key components of sustainable growth.

The collaboration will centre in part on initiatives focused on the valorisation of heritage, with projects designed to highlight African histories and integrate them into contemporary cultural production.
