Netflix’s ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ Wraps Up Filming for Season 2

‘AlRawabi School for Girls’, the popular Jordanian Netflix series, has just finished filming its second season in Amman! Set to release in late 2023, the second season will bring us back into the lives of high school girls struggling with bullying and self-image after two months of shooting and a full year of writing.

Created by Jordanian director Tima Shomali, the show promises to immerse viewers inside the world of an elite all-girls private high school, where a recurring coming-of-age theme becomes a battle of survival. The first season premiered in 32 languages and 190 countries in 2021, instigating conversation and debate across the Arab region upon release.

The cast of ‘AlRawabi School for Girls’ features Jordanian actress Rakeen Saad, who starred in Egyptian series ‘Wahat Al Ghoroub’ (2017) and ‘Rivo’ (2022), alongside Andria Tayeh, Noor Taher, Joanna Arida and Salsabiela A.
