Mamdouh Saif Begins New Album Preparations at AlUla Studios

Saudi composer and musician Mamdouh Saif has begun early preparations for a new album at AlUla Studios, with the project expected to be released in the coming months.

The album marks Saif’s first collaboration with AlUla Studios and follows his 2022 record ‘My Night with You’ (‘Lailaty Ma'ak’). Further details on the album, including its track list and release date, have not yet been announced.

Saif is a composer, arranger, music producer and founder of the production company Voice of Music. His previous albums include ‘Harmony’, ‘Between the Two Seconds’ (‘Ma Baina Al-Thaniyatain’) and ‘My Night with You’.

He began playing music at the age of seven, later performing on Saudi National Radio before studying jazz composition at Berklee College of Music in the United States.

Across his career, Saif has worked with artists including Abdul Majeed Abdullah and Mohamed Abdo. His compositions include Abdul Majeed Abdullah’s 1996 song ‘Ya Tayyib Al-Qalb’, while he also served as musical supervisor and producer for ‘In Love with Makkah’ (‘Fi Hubb Makkah’), featuring Mohamed Abdo, Rabeh Saqer and Abdul Majeed Abdullah.

Saif was the first President of Saudi Arabia’s Professional Association for Music and currently serves as Secretary-General of the Arab Musicians Union. His recent work also includes the soundtrack for the 2022 Saudi series ‘Marzooqah’.
