Diriyah Art Futures Opens First New Media Arts Exhibit in September

Diriyah Art Futures (DAF), the Middle East’s first platform dedicated to new media and digital arts, is set to launch its inaugural exhibition, Continuum ’25, on September 13th.

The show will feature works by 11 emerging artists from Saudi Arabia and worldwide, spanning AI-generated imagery, VR installations, soundscapes, and interactive media. The artists were selected through DAF’s year-long Emerging New Media Artists Programme, which pairs young practitioners under 35 with international mentors and provides access to cutting-edge facilities.

Participating artists include Turki AlQahtani and Khaled Makshoush (Saudi Arabia), Salma Aly (Egypt), Samia Dzaïr (Algeria), Aya Abu Ghazaleh (Jordan), Dhia Dhibi (Tunisia), William Brooks (Wales), Junsoo Kim (South Korea), Youssef El Idrissi (Morocco), Kyle Donald Marais (South Africa), and Mohamed Al Mubarak (Bahrain).
