Monochrome Monday: Rhapsody Pantone

Rhapsody: because sometimes the softest shade makes the loudest statement.

Monochrome Monday: Rhapsody Pantone

Rhapsody is lavender recast — softer than lilac, sharper than mauve, and this season it’s everywhere from Sarah Abbas’s architectural drapes to Pucci’s psychedelic swirls softened into lavender haze. The shade shifts easily between ethereal and deliberate, catching the light one way in Onori’s pearl choker and another in L’Afshar’s glossy ombré clutch.

Designers are leaning into that duality. Gowns slip across the body like liquid, while abayas take on sculptural ease. Accessories lift the tempo: pearls turned into armour, lucite into luxury, sunglasses that tint the world lilac. Even tailoring bends, with silk shirts and co-ords proving that structure can soften without losing authority.

Wear Fold – Ember Abaya

Minimalism meets theatre in a sweep of lilac. It’s clean, commanding, and proof that quiet design can still stop you in your tracks.

L’Afshar – Yara Ombré Purple

A bag that glimmers like hard candy left in the sun. Its glossy ombré finish turns lucite into luxury with a wink of irreverence.

Sarah Abbas – Grand Rein Dress

This is architecture in motion. A gown that sculpts the body while keeping its flow, made for moments when presence matters more than words.

Onori – Honor Pearl Choker

Pearls reimagined for the power dresser. Oversized, graphic, and unapologetically bold, it sits less like jewelry and more like armor.

Reem Ami – Lovebirds Dress

Print doesn’t get cuter—or sharper—than this. A lilac base with playful hearts, balanced by a silhouette that feels editorial, not sweet.

Pucci – Orchidee Silk Twill Shirt

Heritage Pucci, but softened into lavender haze. Crisp tailoring collides with psychedelic swirls, reminding us that classics are always better when they’re a little unruly.

Duet – Mahina Set

A co-ord made for golden hours and long weekends. Effortless in movement but sharp in cut, it captures the ease of summer without losing edge.

Loewe – Round Sunglasses

Sunglasses that feel like an inside joke only you’re in on. Lilac-tinted lenses add irony to elegance, making the world instantly look cooler.
