Taylor Swift Wears Reem Acra on Cover of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)

Global superstar Taylor Swift pays homage to her more than a decade-long love for Lebanese designer Reem Acra on the cover of her latest release.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is a re-recording of third studio album from 2010, Speak Now, on the cover of which she wore two gowns from Acra’s Spring 2007 collection. The new release includes re-recordings of all original tracks, plus six previously unreleased songs.

12 years on from the original album’s release, Swift brings the soft, youthful romanticism of Speak Now full circle into this matured stage of her career by posing in another Reem Acra dress.

Similarly airy, fluffy and delicate to the original tulle creation, the gown is from Acra’s 2022 drop, and is a light, wispy lilac in contrast to the strong fuschia and violet hues of 2010. In a nostalgic nod to the sweet naïvety of her early days in the spotlight, Swift completes the look with a pair of standard ballet shoes made by dancewear company Capezio.

And Reem Acra isn’t the only regional couturier the pop princess has a penchant for; she’s sported designs by Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab and more countless times throughout her entire career, including her ongoing Eras world tour.
