Sephora is Opening Its First Store in Egypt

Egyptian girlies, you can finally stop planning your next trip around a Sephora run. The global beauty retailer is set to open its first Egyptian store at MR1 Hotels & Giza Downtown, officially bringing Sephora’s in-store experience to the country.

For years, a Sephora haul has been one of those unofficial travel rituals, squeezed somewhere between airport shopping and trying to convince yourself that your suitcase definitely has room for one more thing. From sending friends abroad with a carefully curated wishlist to calculating how many beauty products can realistically fit in your luggage, the Sephora run has become part of the travel itinerary.

The new store will be part of MR1 Hotels & Giza Downtown, an upcoming mixed-use destination bringing together hospitality, retail, dining and entertainment. For Egyptian beauty lovers, it means the brands, products and shopping experience they’ve previously had to look abroad for will soon be much closer to home.
