Your Guide to Spook-tacular Halloween Club Nights in Egypt

With the Halloween season creeping around the corner, Egypt’s top venues and clubs are brewing up a cauldron of spooky soirees, bringing together some of the biggest international and regional DJs with electrifying house and techno treats.

From Geeza Records’ all-nighter headlining Berghain resident Sedaf Adasï to Afro-house maestro Floyd Lavine at Le Lac Du Cairo, we have compiled a list of the best club nights happening across Egypt for the Halloween weekend. Get your costumes ready and proceed.

Lazuli Dafunk ‘Halloween Edition’ | October 31st 

Lineup: Aly B, Hany Must, Masry, Nour Fahmy, Xtrakrim, Youssef Yasser

📍 Private Location 

Egyptian-bred party series Lazuli are bringing back its signature Nile-side series, Dafunk, this time with a bit spooky twist on October 31st. The lineup features a roster of Cairo’s finest, like Aly B, who will be playing b2b with Youssef Yasser, along with Nour Fahmy, Masry and Xtrakrim, as well as rock rouser Hany Must.

Geeza Records 005  | October 30th

Lineup: Sedaf Adasï, Aroussi b2b Youssef Shazli, Omarino

📍 ZED Park, Sheikh Zayed 

Egyptian label and party series, Geeza Records, is flying in a resident from Berlin’s legendary Panorama Bar club, Sedaf Adasï, for a special Halloween bash at ZED Park in Cairo on October 30th. Arguably, one of Germany’s top selectors, Sedaf, is known for her rave-ready blend of house, acid, trance, and electro. She will be joined behind the decks with some of Cairo’s favourites, such as Aroussi, Youssef Shazli and Omarino.

The Midnight Zone by Korde | October 30th 

Lineup: Floyd Lavine, Misty, Awadly, Kidmims 

📍 Lu Lac Du Cairo 

Events giant Kord are presenting afro-house trailblazer Floyd Lavine for a special spooky takeover at Kanzel, Le Lac Du Cairo on October 30th. He will be joined by Cairo’s staple Misty, Awadly and Kidmims, spinning a little bit of everything from groovy house and italo disco to some deep club cuts.

BackSpin Goth Haus | October 31st 

Lineup: Shunus, Warda, Valentine, Khorda, Hidden Hand, Deso, Brava. 

📍 Private Location 

BackSpin, a Cairo-bred social club and collective notable in the underground music circuit for their unique approach to event curation, are coming back with a ‘Goth Haus’ Halloween-themed edition on October 31st. Taking place at a private location–revealed to guests upon reservation–the party will feature an eclectic lineup of homegrown talents, such as Shunus, Warda, Khorda, Valentine, Hidden Hand, and Deso b2b Brava.

CJC 610’s Impulse with Honeyluv | October 30th 

Lineup: Honeyluv, Al Sahrif b2b Dou, Ziad Mousa

📍 Cairo Jazz Club 610 

LA-based Tech-house maverick HoneyLuv will be touching down in Egypt at Cairo Jazz Club 610 this Halloween on October 30th. Known for his eclectic mix of classic house grooves and deep tech cuts, the DJ and producer will be joined by Ziad Mousa and Al Sharif b2b Dou, who will be spinning some wicked grooves till the witching hour.

Matarma Bay | October 31st 

Lineup: Paar Muzik, Aly Goede, Al Sharif 

📍 Matarma Bay, Ras Sudr 

Matarma Bay beach hotel is cooking up a spooky night on the glittering shores of Ras Sudr with a special Halloween showcase this October 31st. The beach party will feature rising Egyptian producer duo Paar Muzik, alongside veteran DJ and house maestro Aly Goede, and local selector Al Sahrif.

Mazeej ‘Into The Shadows’ | October 30th

Lineup: KZ & CAKE, Riad, Bassel 

📍 Downtown Cairo 

Mazeej Balad rooftop is hosting an exclusive Halloween all-nighter in Downtown Cairo district on October 30th. The night will kick off with a pre-party at Mazeej from 8 PM, before moving into The Warehouse at 10 PM, where local DJ duo KZ & Cake, Riad and Bassel will be conjuring up some techno and house mayhem till late. Dress code is dark elegance.
