Yasmine Hamdan & Tamer Nafar to Play WOMAD Fest in the UK July 23-26

WOMAD, considered one of the world’s most celebrated festivals for international music, arts and dance, has announced the lineup for its first iteration in the UK at Neston Park in Wilshire. From July 23rd to July 26th, the iconic global festival returns with a wide-ranging bill that moves between Afrobeat, reggae, jazz, hip-hop, and underground electronic music, pairing legacy names with emerging voices from across continents.

Among the standout acts are Lebanese indie artist Yasmine Hamdan, Palestinian rapper Tamer Nafar, and Tunisian-Algerian DJ Cheb Mimo. They will be sharing the bill with a massive roster of international stars like, South London neo-soul artist Greentea Peng, reggae legend Barrington Levy, Afrobeat artist Made Kuti, Mercury Prize-nominated composer Emma-Jean Thackray, and Brazilian pop icon Daniela Mercury.

"Curating WOMAD is about discovery, bringing together artists from different musical worlds who expand horizons and connect with our audience. This line-up reflects that spirit, and we're looking forward to welcoming these incredible musicians to our new home at Neston Park." Paula Henderson, WOMAD Global Artist Programmer, says.

Tickets for WOMAD Neston Park 2026 are available via the festival’s official website.
