Tul8te & Saint Levant Finally Link Up on Summer Pop Single 'Nano'
Produced by Moataz Mady, the track captures the fleeting rush of summer romances.
Earlier this year, TUL8TE and Saint Levant, two of the region’s most influential pop stars, sparked speculation as videos of them both performing in Lebanon circulated across social media. The exchange quickly fuelled rumours of a collaboration, though few expected it to materialise so soon.
Now, the pair has finally dropped that long-awaited crossover with ‘Nano’, a breezy summer single that merges their distinct artistic identities. Blending TUL8TE’s retro-inflected Egyptian pop sensibilities with Saint Levant’s cosmopolitan approach to songwriting, the track unfolds within a dreamlike world of Arab pop, exploring the fleeting thrill and uncertainty of a summer romance.
Produced by TUL8TE’s longtime collaborator Moataz Mady, ‘Nano’ keeps the percussion light, offset by multi-layered melodic instrumentation and warm Middle Eastern textures. TUL8TE delivers the introspective, emotionally resonant melodies that have become his signature, while Saint Levant counters with a more playful, flirtatious and conversational attitude, delivering his verses in Palestinian dialect and French. Together, they strike a balance that feels effortless, creating a chemistry that elevates the track beyond a straightforward pop duet (and perhaps something of a viral material).
The accompanying music video - directed by Reem Eid - expands on the song’s central themes, framing summer romance as a vivid yet fleeting fantasy. Awash in pastel pinks, muted purples, neon signage, and vintage automobiles, the visuals evoke a toy-box dreamscape akin to Barbie’s that sits somewhere between nostalgia and escapism. The highly stylised setting reinforces the song’s emotional core: a romance so intoxicating it feels unreal, and so temporary it seems to vanish even as it unfolds.
