Macklemore Announces Mini Euro Tour to Raise Funds for Palestine
The tour kicks off on October 26th in Dublin, featuring two other stops, one in Paris and one in London.
Following his removal from Ed Sheeran’s US ‘Loop’ tour and the exodus that followed, American rapper Macklemore announces a mini European tour with friends in solidarity with Palestine this October.
Titled ‘Free Palestine’, the tour will kick off in Dublin on October 26th, followed by stops in Paris on October 29th and London on October 30th. Macklemore will be joined by a lineup of supporting artists from across the globe, who are set to be announced soon.
Announcing the tour on Instagram, Macklemore wrote: “It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore. People are asking artists to show up, educate themselves and be in community. To use the stage for more than entertainment. To push back when the call for a free Palestine is met with attempts to silence it.”
He continued: “What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.”
Macklemore also said he had spent the past week reaching out to artists who have publicly stood in solidarity with Palestinians, regardless of the consequences, adding that artists’ platforms “mean very little if we’re only willing to use them when it’s safe.”
All proceeds from the tour will be donated to organisations supporting the Palestinian people and movement. Presale tickets begin Monday at 10 AM local time, with general sale opening Wednesday at 10 AM local time.
