Kozbara Drops New Summer Track & Video ‘Enta Mish Gai Maaya’
Donning a pair of sunglasses, Kozbara aka Ahmed Bahr put out a music video that has him throwing shade all over social media.
Egyptian singer and actor Ahmed Bahr, better known as Kozbara, has just released a fiery new track titled ‘Enta Mish Gai Maaya’. The song arrives with a high-energy music video on YouTube, with clips already going viral across social media for its lyrics, swagger and extremely loud sense of fashion.
Kozbara takes a no-holds-barred approach to ego in the Egyptian Shaabi scene. With bars like “مفيش سمكه تنافس حوت” (“No fish can compete with a whale”), he carves out a space that’s humorous and feisty. Between the wordplay, TikTok catchphrases, and tongue-in-cheek delivery, the line “ثقة في الله هوقعك” (“With God’s confidence, I’ll take you down”) feels like an allusion to a certain Numbar One. ☝🏼
The track is written and composed by Kozbara, while the music video is produced by Abu Abeer, and directed by Omar Donga. The video sees him lyrically throwing hands in the middle of a traffic jam, donning a pair of sunglasses and a chromatically chaotic outfit, and occasionally getting cut off by an ostrich.
