Taking over a warehouse in District 5, the event will be headlined by London-born DJ and Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO, renowned for his adventurous, wide-ranging approach to contemporary dance music. Rooted in UK rave culture, his sets traverse early dubstep and drum ’n’ bass, moving between house, techno and more left-field club sounds. He’ll be joined by French DJ and producer Traumer, whose expansive catalogue and distinctive sound have made him a defining name in the modern minimal and house scenes.

The line-up also features local favourites Tito B2B Aly B, Joey B2B Messery, and Youla. The event marks the first instalment of a two-part Cairo showcase for Sandbox Selects.

An offshoot of Nacelle’s annual multi-day festival in El Gouna, Sandbox Selects brings the spirit of its flagship event to smaller, more intimate dancefloors. Building on the community Nacelle has cultivated over the past 12 years, the series takes Sandbox’s ethos beyond the Red Sea and closer to home.
