Expat Remittances From Saudi Arabia Rose 16% in April 2026
Transfers by foreign residents reached SAR 14.65 billion during the month.
Expatriate remittances from Saudi Arabia increased by 16% year on year in April 2026, reaching SAR 14.65 billion, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank.
Despite the annual increase, transfers by foreign residents declined by around SAR 2.3 billion compared with March 2026, representing a 13% month-on-month decrease.
The central bank's figures also showed that remittances sent by Saudis abroad totalled SAR 5.5 billion in April, marking a 1% increase compared with the same month a year earlier.
The data reflects changes in both expatriate and Saudi remittance flows during April 2026, with all figures reported in Saudi riyals.
