El Gouna Photo Week Returns for Second Edition This December
The event brings together photographers for a week full of talks, open-access exhibitions, workshops and portfolio reviews.
El Gouna Photo Week is set to return for its second edition from December 4th to 12th, bringing together photographers from across Egypt and the wider region for a week of exhibitions, workshops and industry events.
Organised by Cairo-based photography school Photopia, the programme will feature talks, open-access exhibitions, portfolio reviews and hands-on workshops, alongside a range of photography-focused experiences taking place across the Red Sea town.
The inaugural edition, held in 2022, welcomed a number of prominent figures from Egypt's creative industries, including Ahmad Al Morsy, Ali Ali, Maged Nassar and Tamer Ashry.
Founded in 2012, Photopia is a Cairo-based independent photography school, they're also the hosts and organisers of Cairo Photo Week and Alex Photo Week. The organisation said additional programme details for this year's edition will be announced through its Instagram page in the lead-up to the event.
