Egyptian ID Services Available in Riyadh & Jeddah Until November 10th

Egyptian citizens living in Saudi Arabia can issue and renew national ID cards at Egypt’s consular missions in Riyadh and Jeddah until November 10th, 2026, through temporary Civil Status Authority committees deployed to both posts.

The committees, drawn from the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Authority, began operating on October 31st and can process first-time ID card applications, renewals, replacements for lost cards and updates to personal data.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised applicants to contact the relevant consular mission in Riyadh or Jeddah before attending to confirm procedures and submission times.

Egyptians living in neighbouring countries may also apply through the two missions during the same period, provided they coordinate with the relevant consular post in advance.

The Saudi Arabia deployment forms part of a wider schedule of overseas Civil Status Authority committees serving Egyptian communities abroad. Similar missions operated in Jordan and the UAE from October 3rd to 13th and in Qatar, Lebanon and Kuwait from October 17th to 27th. Further committees are scheduled for Greece and Italy from November 14th to 24th, followed by France from November 28th to December 8th, 2026.
