Dubai's City Walk Now Offers Free First-Hour Parking

Visitors to City Walk can now park without taking a ticket or stopping at a barrier after Parkin introduced a new barrier-free parking system at the Dubai destination. Under the new system, visitors receive one hour of free parking before being charged AED 5 per hour, or part thereof. Parking fees are automatically deducted from the user's Parkin account. If a visitor does not have a Parkin account, or if there are insufficient funds, a payment link is sent to complete the transaction. A separate parking arrangement remains in place at The Boulevard within City Walk, where parking is free for the first 30 minutes before being charged at AED 20 per additional hour. These fees are deducted through the user's Salik account rather than Parkin. Visitors to Roxy Cinemas, The Green Planet and selected participating retailers can also validate their parking. Customers who spend at least AED 50 at participating outlets are eligible for three hours of complimentary parking, provided they validate their parking at the retailer's counter. Separately, Parkin has signed a five-year agreement with Al Ghurair Centre to introduce the same ticketless smart parking system. Under the arrangement, visitors to Al Ghurair Centre receive three hours of free parking from Monday to Saturday, while parking remains free throughout Sundays and public holidays.
