Abu Dhabi & Dubai to Link Smart Parking Systems for Digital Payments
Q Mobility and Parkin will integrate their platforms to create a single parking service across both emirates.
Parking services in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are set to become more connected under a new partnership between Q Mobility and Parkin, which will integrate their digital platforms into a single parking ecosystem spanning both emirates.
The agreement will allow residents and visitors to access parking services and pay fees through one unified digital channel, regardless of whether they are parking in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The move forms part of wider efforts to improve smart mobility and create a more seamless user experience across the UAE.
Beyond integrating payment services, the companies plan to launch pilot projects using artificial intelligence, data analytics and other digital technologies to monitor parking occupancy, forecast demand and improve operational efficiency. The partnership will also explore the exchange of data and technical expertise in line with applicable regulations and data protection requirements, while identifying opportunities to make better use of existing parking infrastructure.
Q Mobility operates Abu Dhabi's public parking network, while Parkin is Dubai's largest provider of public parking facilities and services. Together, the companies aim to lay the groundwork for a more intelligent, data-driven parking system across the two emirates.
