Everything You Need To Know About The UAE AI Camp 2026 In Dubai

The UAE AI Camp has opened its eighth edition, running from August 17 to 29 across Dubai. Organised by the National Program for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the National Program for Coders, the initiative continues its role as a national platform for building AI literacy across the country.

Participation spans a wide range of groups. School and university students, young professionals, employees, small and medium-sized enterprise owners, and anyone with an interest in AI, programming or emerging technologies are all invited to take part, regardless of prior experience.

This year's programme includes workshops on detecting fraud attempts, password protection, and digital well-being, alongside the Gemini Academy for students. Sessions also cover the use of AI assistants in project management, and the growing role of AI in legal operations and compliance work.

A central feature of the 2026 edition is the Future of Transport Hackathon, developed with the Transport Authority of the Government of Ajman. Participants are tasked with applying AI thinking to real transportation challenges, translating concepts from the workshops into applied problem-solving.

Further sessions explore generative AI and the mechanics behind how AI systems learn from data, images and information. An interactive introduction to robotics is included, along with a breakdown of the distinction between generative AI and agentic AI, two terms increasingly used across the industry.

Practical applications round out the programme. Participants examine how AI is used in business operations, marketing, video production, and educational content, as well as the development of AI-powered mobile applications across multiple sectors.

The camp's workshops and activities are delivered in partnership with a group of global organisations, including Maharat Min Google, Microsoft, Brainy n Bright, Accenture, Think Media Labs, Intel, BytePlus, Spectrum and Modesh World.
