USD 1 Million AI Film Prize Unveiled at 1 Billion Followers Summit
To further support creators, the summit will roll out a Creators Ventures Programme, backed by AED 50 million in grants and investments.

The 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest content creator economy expo, will launch the world’s biggest prize for AI‑generated films, with a top award of USD 1 million, in partnership with Google Gemini. Fully AI‑created films will be judged on storytelling, creativity, realism, and alignment with humanitarian themes. The top ten films will be screened at the summit, with the winner announced live during the event.
The summit will take place in Dubai from January 9th to the 11th, 2026, spanning venues including the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future. Organised by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme “Content for Good”, the event reinforces Dubai’s growing role as a global hub for creator economies and digital media.
To further support creators, the summit will roll out a Creators Ventures Programme, backed by AED 50 million in grants and investments, targeting projects with cultural or social impact. In addition, a new Content Creators Accelerator, developed in collaboration with Creators HQ and 500 Global, will offer mentorship, funding, and resources to emerging talent. A dedicated exhibition space for content creation companies and startups will also be established to facilitate networking and partnerships .
This edition follows a 2025 summit that attracted over 15,000 creators, showcased 420 speakers, included 125 global CEOs, and generated 1.5 billion digital interactions and 542 million social media views during its run.
