Global Sports Leaders to Convene in Abu Dhabi at Sport Industry Forum

The Sport Industry Forum is set for October 1st and the 2nd, 2025 at Yas Marina Circuit’s Yas Conference Centre, with pre-event networking scheduled on September 30th. The gathering is supported by the Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the Department of Community Development, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Organisers expect over 500 senior executives, policymakers, and sport business professionals to attend. Confirmed speakers include Alexis Ohanian, John Terry, Robbie Fowler, Kelly Flatow (NBA), Tad Brown (Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment), Andrew Thompson (SailGP), and H.E. Ghanim Al Hajeri.
Over two days, discussions will focus on regional sports investment strategies, equity in women’s sport, governance of federations, sponsorship, and brand partnerships. The programme also features networking sessions, a Padel Networking Evening, and receptions at Yas Marina to encourage informal collaboration.
With global players such as Siemens Mobility and Alstom among those participating, the forum aims to position Abu Dhabi as a key hub for knowledge exchange and partnerships shaping the sports industry across the Middle East and beyond.
