Dubai's McCafferty’s JVC Named Largest Irish Bar in the World

Dubai has done it again—this time, with pints.

McCafferty’s JVC, a long-time favourite for its Irish hospitality, live music, and late-night sports screenings, has officially been crowned the largest Irish bar in the world by Guinness World Records™.

The venue at Circle Mall has been a fixture of Jumeirah Village Circle’s nightlife for years, known for its mix of expats and locals, and its weekly lineup of Irish bands and pub quizzes.

After a major expansion that added the rooftop Guinness Garden in partnership with Guinness and African + Eastern, the bar now covers 29,831 square feet with both indoor and outdoor spaces and 148 taps serving everything from stouts to ciders.

The update also introduced bigger stages for live music and new LED screens for match nights, making the record-breaking title less about bragging rights and more about keeping the bar’s famously lively atmosphere going strong.
