Dubai Police Launch 5th Esports Tournament With AED 200,000 in Prizes
Open to gamers aged 10–35 and taking place August 17th to 18th, the tournament will focus on online safety, and cybercrime awareness.

Dubai Police have opened registration for the fifth edition of their Esports Tournament, set to take place on August 17th and 18th at the Dubai Police Officers Club in Al Jaddaf.
Open to participants aged 10 to 35 of all genders, the tournament offers a prize pool of AED 200,000, with registration now live via the official Dubai Police portal.
More than just a competition, the event aims to promote cybersecurity awareness in the gaming space—highlighting issues like online fraud, data privacy, and the risks of sharing personal information in chatrooms. The initiative also encourages a balanced approach to gaming, reminding participants to prioritise both physical and mental wellbeing.
Launched in response to the growing popularity of esports in the UAE, the tournament is part of a wider effort by Dubai Police to engage young people through interactive, educational platforms during the summer break.
