Dubai Esports & Games Festival Takes Over DWTC This May
The gaming festival runs from May 8th to 24th with tournaments, themed zones and hands-on gameplay, including a LEGO Store and a New Tokyo District.
Dubai Esports & Games Festival marks its fifth edition from May 8th to 24th at Dubai World Trade Centre, taking over Zabeel Halls 2 and 3 with more than two weeks dedicated to gaming culture in all its forms.
Positioned as one of the region’s largest gaming gatherings, the programme spans competitive esports, hands-on gameplay, live stage moments and immersive themed zones. This year introduces areas such as Battle Arena, Velocity Garage and New Tokyo District, forming part of 10 interactive zones featuring over 100 gaming consoles and dedicated tournament stages. Expect a mix of new releases alongside retro classics.
A dedicated LEGO experience, created in collaboration with LEGO Certified Stores, adds a creative layer to the lineup, designed to engage families and younger visitors through interactive builds and challenges.
Beyond the main floor, the festival programme includes cosplay showcases, esports competitions, coding workshops and Minecraft education challenges, blending entertainment with skill-building sessions. Full schedules and ticket details are available on the festival’s official website.
