This Food Festival Brings Thailand to Zamalek’s Horreya Garden
Thai cuisine takes over Al Horreya Garden in Zamalek from February 12th to 15th as part of the Thai Select Festival.
If February usually means Valentine’s plans, this year Zamalek has something else lined up. From February 12th to 15th, the Thai Food Festival will take over Al Horreya Garden as part of the wider Thai Select Festival.
The event is set up like a casual Thai street market, with stalls serving classic Thai dishes alongside packaged food products and ingredients. It’s designed for wandering, grazing, and discovering new flavours rather than sitting through a formal dining experience.
Beyond the food, the festival taps into cultural exchange between Egypt and Thailand, using cuisine as a way to introduce visitors to everyday Thai food culture in a relaxed, open-air setting.
The festival runs daily from 12 PM to 8 PM, making it easy to drop by for lunch, an afternoon stroll, or an early evening bite.
