Dubai's Famous BKRY Is Coming to Cairo

The oven timer is about to ding on one of Dubai’s most exciting culinary exports. BKRY, the experimental bakespace that turned Dubai's pastry scene into its springfree trampoline, is packing up its wildest recipes and opening its doors at Waterway 2 in New Cairo.

BKRY is a part-bakery, part-delicious-lab where curiosity is the main ingredient. Founded by the endlessly creative Kameel Rasyid Eril - whose journey began baking with his mother in Indonesia— - BKRY has built a cult following in Dubai by treating baking as a boundless art form.

Think of it as ‘out-of-the-bun’ thinking, literally. Imagine biting into a pastry where the flour is milled in-house, the chocolate is single-origin from Tanzania, and the miso is fermented right in the kitchen.
